Founded in 1964, the Ledyard Historical Society seeks to preserve and make accessible the history of Ledyard and Gales Ferry, Connecticut, including that of the Eastern Pequot, Mashantucket Pequot, and Mohegan people.

The Ledyard Historical Society seeks to preserve, protect, and make accessible the history of Ledyard and Gales Ferry, Connecticut, including that of the Pequot and Mohegan tribal nations.

Locations

Our artifact collection is located at the Nathan Lester House and Farm Tool Museum at 153 Vinegar Hill Road, Gales Ferry, CT. 

Our archive is located inside the Ledyard Public Library’s Bill branch at 718 Colonel Ledyard Highway, Ledyard, CT.
